With a 45-year legacy, Ross and Frances Cairo can be proud of the business they developed from recognizing the gaps in product and service in the Greater Toronto Region. The next evolution of the business came with the addition of son Angelo and daughter Niki who have fully embraced the tradition of service, quality and personal attention bringing SGI to the recognized level it has reached today. SGI is a trusted and engaged member of the glazing industry with solid relationships throughout all levels of the construction community.
Our Market
SGI’s main focus is in the Institutional, Commercial, Industrial market, with special interest in high-rise retrofit projects. We cater to targeted clients where relationships are most important and mutual project success is key. Understanding the market direction for higher quality and scrutiny was a catalyst for SGI to install a dedicated mock-up/testing tower and implementation of BIM in our engineering and manufacturing process. Whatever the next construction evolution brings, SGI will embrace to support the market direction.
